Easy, delicious, and GORGEOUS! Could a glaze this beautiful be this easy? Absolutely!

This easy chocolate glaze is my favorite! It is not so sweet that it overwhelms, and complements the existing flavor of your treat nicely. My favorite thing about this glaze is that it balances your baked goods, rather than taking over and stealing the show.

The Magic of Corn Syrup in the Easy Chocolate Glaze

If placed in the fridge, the easy chocolate glaze will turn dull and matte, but bringing it back to room temperature will return it to its original shine. That is the magic of a touch of corn syrup. When I make my decadent four-layer chocolate mousse cake, I use this glaze to top it. I make sure to pull it out of the fridge before guests arrive to allow time for the glaze to warm up and return to its beautiful, shiny state. While it won’t give you the glossy shine of a mirror glaze made with gelatin, it is still so appetizing to look at and makes up for it with how easy it is to prepare!

I use this easy chocolate glaze as a drizzle over cakes (or to cover an ENTIRE cake because why not!). It works great for gorgeous chocolate-dipped donuts, and I love to use it to dress up the tops of cream puffs. See how I used it on my Chocolate Cream Puffs here! I use any leftovers to drizzle over peanut butter icing, a mint brownie, or some simple strawberries and cream. I’ve used it on a tart, a pie, ice cream, and even cheesecake! What will you try this glaze on? Comment below. I can’t wait to hear!
